An Overnight Gala

One of my stress reliever is going out and eat. We have experienced eating in 4 different restaurants in just 1 night. Imagine?!! 4 diff restaus in just 1 night? You heard it right!

Just had an early dinner in Harbor View Restaurant Manila located at Rizal Park (right beside Manila Ocean Park). It has a nice spot that you can enjoy over the shores of Manila Bay. The food is so great! This place is now one of the first restaurants for great seafood and romantic evenings near Roxas Boulevard.

Harbor View Restaurant has a rooftop terrace and a pier-like structure stretching out into the sea. From here you get a wide view over the sea and the big ships lying by anchor, marvelous especially when the sun is going down.
The menu is all about seafood, with a mix of Filipino, Asia Fusion and Western style dishes. You can choose crabs, lobster and a selection of fish freshly from the aquariums.
Many celebrities have visited Harbor View Restaurant since its opening in the mid-‘80s, as hundreds of photos in the hallways are documenting.

After the dinner, we have decided to take our dessert in Magnum Cafe -SM Aura at The Fort while it's still here in Manila. Magnum opens up its own café where visitors can dine and make their own ice cream creations. The cafe-slash-ice cream café is slated to open on April 8 and it is set to be a place where people can not only personalize their Magnum ice cream – they can dine here as well. As a pop-up store, it will only be open for about 12 months (the pop-up store they had in Singapore was open for about 500 days).

It's already 10PM and we don't want to go home yet, we tried to have a short walk in Venice Piazza - McKinley along Tuscany and we were searching for a Coffee Shop. Since almost stores are already closed, we have decided to go to Starbucks Greenbelt for a cup of coffee to fight sleepiness and to continue our chitchats until dawn. However, the store closed at 1am.

Since it's already 2AM, we have decided to spend our remaining time in Shakeys - Makati Avenue and went home at 5 in the morning. It was a great experience though. I was somehow relieved!
